In a new interview with Elle, the actress recalled working overnight on Euphoria while memorizing lines for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three and preparing for scenes in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
“I was so tired,” Zendaya said, explaining that she studied Chakobsa dialogue for Dune and practiced lines for a quick trip to Iceland to shoot The Odyssey. She added that she worried about making mistakes while working with Nolan and admitted she “messed up” her lines once.
Zendaya is having one of her busiest years yet, with four major releases. She recently appeared in A24’s The Drama and is currently back as Rue Bennett in Euphoria, which airs Sundays on HBO and HBO Max.
She will next appear as Athena in The Odyssey on July 17, followed by Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, where she reprises her role as MJ. She also returns as Chani in Dune: Part Three, set for release on Dec. 18.
Earlier this year, Zendaya said she plans to “disappear for a little bit” after her packed schedule, joking that audiences may get “sick” of seeing her so often in 2026.
