The investigation into a physical altercation involving Reacher star Alan Ritchson and his neighbor has been officially closed, with authorities determining the actor acted in self-defense.

Police in Brentwood, Tennessee, confirmed on March 24, 2026, that no charges will be filed against Ritchson following a review of evidence, including witness statements and body camera footage.

The incident began over the weekend of March 22, after a dispute between Ritchson and his neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, about the actor’s motorcycle use in their residential area. Taylor had reportedly raised concerns about noise and speed.
