Patrick J. Adams Says Meghan Markle Would Likely “Eye Roll” at His Instagram Bio

Actor Patrick J. Adams is reflecting on his past working relationship with Meghan Markle, offering a mix of humor and respect in a recent podcast appearance.

Speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with host Amanda Hirsch in late March 2026, the former Suits star commented on his well-known Instagram bio, which reads: “the other guy from that show that you're watching on that app because that girl married that prince.”

Adams said he has not spoken with Markle recently, but believes she would likely react to the bio with an “eye roll.” He described that reaction as typical of their dynamic while working together on Suits. “I got a lot of eye rolls—that was a constant with Meghan,” he said, suggesting it was part of a playful and familiar rapport between them.

He added that if Markle saw the bio today, she might respond with something like, “Patrick, give me a break.” Adams also noted that he is considering updating the bio, saying it may be time to move on from the long-running joke.

During the interview, Adams confirmed that he and Markle are not currently in regular contact. He acknowledged that her life has changed significantly since her time on the show, describing it as “insane” compared to their earlier years working together.

In a lighter moment, Adams joked that he was not among those who received a gift basket from Markle’s lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, suggesting it might be due to not having “enough followers.”

Despite the distance, Adams spoke positively about Markle, expressing empathy for the level of public scrutiny she has faced since leaving Suits. He described that attention as intense and reiterated his respect for her character during their time as co-stars.

The comments come as Adams and fellow Suits actor Sarah Rafferty continue their rewatch podcast. Markle has not appeared on the show but reportedly sent a supportive message when it first launched.
