Supernatural Actress Dies at 51 After Cancer Battle


Canadian actress Carrie Anne Fleming — best known to fans for her heartfelt role in Supernatural and appearances in iZombie — has died at the age of 51.

Fleming passed away on February 26, 2026, in Sidney, British Columbia, following complications from a long battle with breast cancer. News of her death reached a wider audience nearly a month later, on March 22, after her Supernatural co-star Jim Beaver confirmed it in a statement to Variety.

Fans around the world remember Fleming most for her role as Karen Singer, the warm and grounded wife of Bobby Singer, played by Beaver. Though her appearances were limited, her character left a lasting emotional impression on viewers and became a beloved part of the show’s extended family.

Beyond Supernatural, Fleming built a steady career in television. She had a recurring role as Candy Baker in iZombie and appeared in other popular projects such as Smallville, Masters of Horror, and the comedy film Happy Gilmore. Her performances were often described as genuine and quietly powerful, earning her respect across the industry.

In a touching tribute, Jim Beaver described Fleming as a “powerhouse of vitality” and a “bright light” on set. He noted that her kindness, energy, and professionalism made a lasting impact on everyone she worked with.

Fleming is survived by her daughter, Madalyn Rose.
