Clavicular Hospitalized After Suspected Overdose During Livestream

A 20-year-old online personality known as “Clavicular” was hospitalized in Miami on April 14 after a suspected drug overdose that occurred during a livestream, according to reports circulating online.

Braden Peters, who built a large following in the “looksmaxxing” community, was broadcasting with friends when viewers noticed something was wrong. During the stream, Peters appeared disoriented and physically unwell. He reportedly asked to sit down before the broadcast abruptly ended. Emergency services were later called to the scene, and he was taken to a nearby hospital.

As of April 15, there has been no confirmed update on his condition or whether he has been discharged.

Peters has previously been open about using extreme methods to alter his appearance. He has publicly discussed taking anabolic steroids, which he claimed caused infertility, as well as using crystal meth as an appetite suppressant to maintain a lean physique. His content often centered on what he called “hardmaxxing,” a more extreme branch of the looksmaxxing trend.

That trend, popular on certain corners of social media, focuses on maximizing physical attractiveness. Critics have warned that some of its practices promote harmful and medically unsafe behavior.

Peters drew particular attention for endorsing controversial methods such as “bone smashing,” which involves intentionally injuring bones in hopes they heal in a more pronounced shape, and injecting fat-dissolving substances without medical supervision.

His online career has also been marked by a series of legal and platform-related issues. In March 2026, he was arrested in Fort Lauderdale on a battery charge after allegedly encouraging a physical altercation between two women at a rented property. A few months earlier, he had been banned from the streaming platform Kick following an incident in which he appeared to strike a person with a vehicle during a live broadcast.
