Actor Dylan Sprouse Holds Intruder at Gunpoint Before LAPD Arrest

Actor Dylan Sprouse reportedly confronted and restrained a trespasser at his Hollywood Hills home early Friday morning, April 17, 2026, according to reports citing law enforcement sources.

The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. at the residence Sprouse shares with his wife, model Barbara Palvin. Palvin initially noticed a suspicious person on the property and called 911 to report a possible attempted burglary.

Before police arrived, Sprouse is said to have intervened. Reports indicate the 33-year-old actor held the individual at gunpoint and then physically restrained him by tackling him to the ground.

When officers from the Los Angeles Police Department reached the scene, Sprouse had already secured the firearm in a holster behind the front gate. Police then took control of the situation and arrested the suspect without further incident.

Authorities later clarified that the situation appeared to involve trespassing rather than a confirmed burglary attempt. The suspect was ultimately taken into custody on outstanding warrants, not for charges directly tied to the incident at the home.

Neither Sprouse nor Palvin was injured, though sources say the couple was shaken by the incident.

The property, a Spanish-style home valued at approximately $2 million, has reportedly experienced prior issues with trespassers since the couple purchased it in 2021.

Video circulating online shows the suspect, wearing a “Stamptown” sweatshirt, being escorted away by police. As of now, neither Sprouse nor Palvin has issued a public statement.
