Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen Welcome First Child, a Baby Girl

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, the couple announced on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

Steinfeld shared the news in her Beau Society Substack newsletter in a post titled “Special Delivery.” In the announcement, she wrote, “Our baby girl has arrived!! We're feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.” The message was signed “Love, Hailee and Josh.”

The birth comes after the couple revealed in December 2025 that they were expecting their first child. Steinfeld later appeared at the 2026 Golden Globes in January, where she debuted her baby bump and referred to the baby as her “newest plus one.”

Steinfeld, an actor and singer, and Allen, the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, were first linked in early 2023. They became engaged in 2024 and married in May 2025.

In a recent press conference, Allen spoke about his anticipation of becoming a father, calling it “the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life.”
