The remark references her existing partnership with Wendy’s, as well as her past employment with the fast-food chain before rising to fame.
The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on April 15 at a McDonald’s location in Hollywood. According to surveillance footage and eyewitness accounts, Ice Spice was seated in a booth with a friend when a woman, later identified as a fan named Vayah, approached them and asked to join.
The situation escalated after Ice Spice and her companion reportedly asked the woman to leave. Vayah has claimed that Ice Spice used an insult during the exchange, which led her to slap the rapper. Footage shows Ice Spice immediately reacting by jumping over tables and pursuing the woman as employees attempted to intervene.
The confrontation continued outside the restaurant, where additional video shows a heated argument between Ice Spice and members of the woman’s group. In the footage, Ice Spice also appears to smash a phone during the altercation.
No serious injuries were reported.
Despite her lighthearted response online, Ice Spice’s legal team is treating the matter as a serious incident. Her attorney, Bradford Cohen, confirmed that a report has been filed with the Los Angeles Police Department. He stated that they intend to pursue both criminal and civil action against the individual involved.
The legal team is also reviewing the role of the McDonald’s location, specifically whether there was adequate security present at the time of the incident.
The videos have since spread widely across social media, making the incident a trending topic and drawing significant public attention.
