Sydney Sweeney Reveals Hydration-Focused Routine That “Saved” Her Skin on Euphoria Set

Sydney Sweeney is sharing the skincare routine she says “truly saved” her skin while filming Euphoria Season 3, and it centers on one priority: hydration.

The actor, who has been open about struggling with sensitive skin and cystic acne, faced long days on set that required heavy makeup and frequent removal. She described that cycle as “harsh” on her skin, forcing her to focus on products that could restore moisture without causing irritation.

At the core of her routine are several products from Laneige, a brand she has partnered with. Sweeney says these formulas worked for her when many others did not.

She starts with the Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser, which she uses to break down makeup gently. Rather than leaving her skin stripped or tight, she says it helps maintain her natural moisture barrier.

Next, she applies the Blue Hyaluronic Serum while her skin is still damp. This step, she emphasizes, is critical for locking in hydration—especially for her dry, combination skin.

To seal everything in, she relies on the Water Bank Cream Moisturizer, which she has called the one product she “can’t live without.”

One of her simplest tips is also one of the most accessible: Vaseline. She applies a thin layer under her eyes at night to prevent dryness and creasing, calling it a “life changer.”

Beyond products, Sweeney uses a few consistent techniques to manage puffiness and fatigue. She often ice-rolls her face in the morning or dunks it into a bowl of ice water to reduce swelling and wake up her skin. She also wears eye patches while getting ready and sleeps on silk pillowcases to minimize friction on her skin and hair.

For makeup, Sweeney says Armani Luminous Silk Foundation was key during filming. Recommended by Euphoria head makeup artist Donni Davy, she noted that the formula held up under studio lights and did not separate on her skin like other foundations.
