Glen Powell Reacts to Superfan Who Eats His Photo Every Day

Actor Glen Powell says one of his strangest fan encounters involves a TikTok creator who eats a photo of his face every day.

Speaking during The Hollywood Reporter’s comedy roundtable, Powell said he first learned about the fan while walking a red carpet. Someone told him “the girl that eats your face” was there, leaving him confused at first.

The fan, TikTok creator @mynameismonique, started the challenge in June 2025. She posts videos of herself eating what she says are edible printed photos of Powell and says she will continue until she appears as an extra in one of his projects.

Powell later met her at the U.K. premiere of The Running Man in November. After signing a photo for her, she took a bite out of it in front of him. Powell reacted by calling it “savage.”

In the same discussion, Powell also recalled an awkward encounter with a celebrity who had recently faced public backlash. He said he admired the person’s movies but did not want to be photographed with them because of the controversy surrounding them.
