Police Rush to Johnny Depp’s LA Mansion After Alleged Stalker Spotted Near Property

Police were called to Johnny Depp’s Los Angeles mansion after a woman was reportedly seen trespassing near the property on Tuesday, May 19.

According to reports, the Los Angeles Police Department received a call around 4 p.m. saying a woman was sitting near the front gate of Depp’s estate and behaving suspiciously. The caller also claimed she tried to leave a message for the actor.

Sources told TMZ the woman had allegedly visited the property several times over the weekend and had been seen filming around the area, causing concern among neighbors.

By the time officers arrived, the woman had already left and no arrests were made.

This is not the first security incident involving Depp’s home. In 2021, a man was arrested after allegedly breaking into the actor’s Hollywood Hills residence, where he reportedly drank alcohol and showered before police detained him. Earlier that year, another woman reportedly entered the property but fled after the burglar alarm sounded.

Depp’s mansion, a large 1920s-era estate in the Hollywood Hills, has been his home since 1995.
