Spencer Pratt and Chelsea Handler Clash Online Over L.A. Mayor Race

Spencer Pratt and Chelsea Handler are feuding on social media over Pratt’s campaign for Los Angeles mayor.

Pratt recently announced his run for mayor after losing his home in the 2025 Palisades fires. He has criticized current Mayor Karen Bass and other local leaders for how they handled the wildfire response.

Chelsea Handler mocked Pratt’s campaign in an Instagram video, saying a “straight, white male former reality star” with no government experience should not be running the city.

Pratt fired back on X by posting a clip of comedian Shane Gillis from Kevin Hart’s Netflix roast special. In the routine, Gillis made jokes linking Handler to Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew and Woody Allen.

The online fight has added more attention to Pratt’s mayoral bid as he campaigns against Bass and other candidates in the upcoming Los Angeles mayoral race.
