Alexa Demie Says She Doesn’t Want Sydney Sweeney-Level Fame: ‘I Like My Life Like This’

Alexa Demie says she is happy with her career and does not want the level of fame that some of her "Euphoria" co-stars have reached.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Demie responded to online comments comparing her success to stars like Sydney Sweeney. She said friends sometimes send her posts asking why she is not as famous, but she believes success should not be measured by popularity or public attention.

“I like my life like this, and I wouldn’t change it,” Demie said, adding that she prefers to stay out of the spotlight when she is not working.

“Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson also defended Demie, saying fans often treat the cast’s careers like a popularity contest. He said Demie is following the path she wants and does not see fame as the goal.

While Sydney Sweeney has become one of Hollywood’s biggest stars with major film roles and brand deals, Demie says her lower public profile is a personal choice.
