Nicki Minaj Sued by Production Company Over Unpaid $275K in Pink Friday 2 Expenses

Nicki Minaj is facing a new lawsuit from a production company that claims it has not been paid for work tied to her Pink Friday 2 era and related performances.

According to court documents filed on March 23, 2026, a company called 24/7 Productions is suing Minaj and her company, Pink Friday Productions, for more than $275,000 in unpaid expenses.

The production firm says it was hired in late 2023 to support several major projects. These included performances for the Jingle Ball tour, launch events for Minaj’s fifth studio album Pink Friday 2, and broader production work such as lighting, audio, logistics, and on-site management.

In the lawsuit, 24/7 Productions claims it covered upfront costs for staffing, transportation, and technical setup with the understanding that it would be reimbursed later. The company alleges that despite repeated attempts to recover the money, the payments were never made.

The firm also claims that Minaj’s team responded to follow-ups with the phrase, “We’ll look into this,” but did not resolve the issue.

The lawsuit highlights a contrast in earnings, stating that Minaj’s company reportedly received about $650,000 for Jingle Ball performances alone, while the production bill remains unpaid.

This is not the first legal issue connected to the Pink Friday 2 era. In early 2025, a former tour manager, Brandon Garrett, filed a separate lawsuit accusing Minaj of assault and battery following an alleged backstage incident in Detroit.

Despite these disputes, Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour was commercially successful, becoming the first tour by a female rapper to gross over $100 million.

Neither Minaj nor her representatives have publicly responded to the latest lawsuit.
