In an interview with Marie Claire, Graham said it is “disheartening” to see how attitudes toward body image are shifting again. She explained that after years of progress in body positivity and acceptance, society now seems to be moving in the opposite direction.
“There was a time when people were encouraged to accept their bodies,” she said. “Now it feels like that progress is being undone.”
Graham believes the current popularity of weight loss drugs is temporary. She described them as a trend rather than a lasting solution, adding that there will always be people of different body sizes.
She also pointed out that plus-size representation has improved in recent years. According to Graham, many influencers and creators now show a wide range of body types online, helping younger audiences feel more comfortable with themselves.
Graham said she plans to continue promoting body diversity and confidence. She emphasized that her message is for all women, not just those who are plus-size.
“Confidence is for everyone,” she said.
The model also spoke about her personal experience after having three children. She said her body has changed, and adjusting to it has been challenging.
“I’m living in a different body,” Graham said. “I may not always love what I see, but I remind myself of what my body has done.”
She added that she is learning to accept that her body will not look the same as it did in her younger years and is focusing on moving forward.
