Man Previously Linked to Billie Eilish Killed by LIRR Train in Westbury

A 30-year-old man who previously drew public attention in connection with singer Billie Eilish was struck and killed by a Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) train early Wednesday morning in Westbury, New York, according to reports from March 2026.

Authorities identified the man as Prenell Rousseau of Farmingdale, New York. The incident occurred at approximately 5:38 a.m. Officials said Rousseau was jogging “on or near” the tracks when he was hit by an oncoming train. Law enforcement sources indicated that the death appears to be accidental. An investigation is ongoing.

About 100 passengers were aboard the train at the time of the collision. The LIRR said those passengers were transferred to another train to continue their commute. Service disruptions were reported in the area following the incident.

Rousseau became known publicly in 2020 after a series of incidents at the Los Angeles home of singer Billie Eilish. According to court records, he appeared at the property multiple times over a two-day period in May of that year.

During his first visit, Rousseau reportedly rang the doorbell and asked Eilish’s father if the singer lived there. After being told he had the wrong address, he returned later the same day and continued to revisit the home.

In one instance, while the family waited for security personnel to arrive, Rousseau allegedly sat on the porch, reading a book and speaking intermittently to himself. Authorities later arrested him for trespassing.

Following the incidents, a judge granted Eilish a three-year restraining order against Rousseau. In her filing, she stated that his behavior caused significant concern for her family’s safety.

After his arrest in California, Rousseau was returned to New York.

No additional details about the circumstances leading up to Wednesday’s incident have been released.
