On Saturday, March 28, Trump shared updates on Instagram highlighting her 17-year-old daughter, Kai Trump, attending the Miami Open tennis tournament. One post showed Kai posing with top-ranked tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, along with other figures from the sports world. The posts emphasized Kai’s growing involvement in athletics as she prepares to begin playing collegiate golf at the University of Miami in fall 2026.

The timing of the posts follows a turbulent week for Trump and Woods. Just days earlier, the couple appeared publicly together at the TGL Finals in Palm Beach, where they were seen showing support for Woods during his golf comeback. Photos from the event suggested the relationship, which became public in 2025, had become more serious.

The situation shifted on Friday, March 27, when Woods was arrested in Jupiter Island, Florida. According to Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek, Woods was involved in a crash while driving a Land Rover at a high speed in a residential area. He reportedly attempted to pass a truck towing a trailer and collided with it, causing his vehicle to overturn.

Authorities said Woods appeared lethargic at the scene and showed signs of impairment. Although he registered a 0.00 blood alcohol level on a breathalyzer test, he refused to provide a urine sample. He was subsequently charged with driving under the influence, with suspected impairment linked to medication or drugs.

Woods was released on bail after spending approximately eight hours in custody. He was not injured in the crash.

While Trump has not publicly addressed the arrest, reports indicate she is privately concerned and has set expectations regarding Woods’ health and recovery. Her public posts, however, have remained centered on family and her daughter’s activities, suggesting an effort to maintain stability amid the ongoing media attention.
