Billie Eilish Shares Emotional Reaction to Meeting Justin Bieber

Billie Eilish may be one of the most popular musicians in the world, but she recently showed she can still be a devoted fan herself—especially when it comes to Justin Bieber.

The 24-year-old singer shared a series of throwback photos on social media highlighting her longtime admiration for Bieber. The post came just days after Bieber invited her onstage during his Coachella performance.

The images show a much younger Eilish in her bedroom, with walls covered in posters of Bieber from his early career. Other photos include her wearing Bieber-themed T-shirts and a whiteboard filled with handwritten notes about him, including his birth date and place.

One image features playful, altered lyrics inspired by Aqua’s “Barbie Girl,” rewritten to celebrate Bieber. The text reads, in part, “I’m a Bieber girl in a Bieber world… It’s a Bieber nation. Thank god for his creation.”

Another post, dated just before Bieber’s 20th birthday, includes a message declaring him “the best singer and person in the world.” Additional captions express intense admiration, including one that reads, “No words can explain how much I love you!!! If you only knew I existed.”

Eilish also shared a clip of herself dancing to Bieber’s music.

Her recent onstage moment with Bieber happened during his Coachella set, where he performed “One Less Lonely Girl,” a song traditionally featuring a surprise fan appearance. Eilish was selected from the crowd and brought onstage, where she hugged Bieber and became emotional.

At the time, she had been watching the performance alongside Bieber’s wife, Hailey Bieber, and Claudia Sulewski, who is engaged to Eilish’s brother, Finneas.

Video shared by Sulewski on TikTok shows Eilish being led to the stage before embracing Bieber during the performance.

Despite her global fame and multiple awards, including two Oscars, Eilish’s reaction made clear that meeting her longtime idol was still a meaningful and overwhelming experience.
