Jack White Slams Trump’s AI Image as ‘Blasphemy,’ Calls Him ‘Worst American of All Time’

Rock musician Jack White has launched a sharp public attack on Donald Trump, criticizing both the president and the Christians who continue to support him. The comments came after Trump shared an AI-generated image that appeared to place him alongside Jesus Christ, sparking backlash online.

White, best known as the frontman of The White Stripes, said the image crossed a line. Drawing on his own Catholic upbringing, he accused Trump of “blasphemy” and went further, comparing him to the biblical “anti-Christ.” His message was directed not just at Trump, but at religious voters who remain loyal to him.

In his post, White questioned how evangelical and Catholic supporters could reconcile their faith with their political support. He referenced long-standing religious warnings about figures who present themselves as Christlike, suggesting that Trump’s behavior fits that description. He also criticized Trump’s past remarks about the Pope, highlighting what he sees as a contradiction for Catholic voters.

White did not hold back in his broader assessment. He said Trump already had “worst President in the history of America on lock,” and added that he personally considered him the “Worst American of All Time.” He also listed a range of grievances, including legal issues, foreign policy decisions, and controversial rhetoric.

After the backlash, Trump reportedly tried to downplay the AI image, claiming it was meant to depict him as a humanitarian figure, like a Red Cross worker or doctor, rather than a religious one. That explanation drew another response from White, who mocked the shift.

“He lies, then lies about the lie, then doubles down on that lie with another lie,” White wrote. “And they just keep falling for it.”

The exchange is one of the most direct and forceful criticisms White has made against Trump. The two have clashed before, particularly over Trump’s use of White’s music at political rallies without permission. This latest dispute adds a new layer, bringing religion and symbolism into an already tense relationship.
