Alex Cooper Accuses Alix Earle of “Fake Drama” as Influencer Rift Turns Public

A long-simmering feud between podcast host Alex Cooper and influencer Alix Earle has now spilled into public view, after Cooper posted a blunt TikTok calling Earle out by name.

In the video, posted April 13, Cooper said she was “tired” of what she described as “fake drama” and “passive-aggressive” behavior from Earle on social media. The clip quickly went viral, pulling millions of views within hours and prompting a direct response from Earle.

Cooper’s main point was that there is nothing legally stopping Earle from speaking openly. She rejected the idea that a non-disclosure agreement is keeping Earle quiet, saying, “There is no NDA,” and urging her to “just say it yourself.” Cooper also accused Earle of shaping a more dramatic version of events to keep attention on herself, adding that she personally has “nothing to hide” about their falling-out.

The immediate trigger appears to have been Earle reposting a video from another creator that criticized Cooper harshly, calling her an “ambulance chaser” who profits from women sharing vulnerable stories. Cooper referenced that repost as the final straw.

Earle responded quickly, but briefly. She commented on Cooper’s video with “Okay on it!!” and reposted the clip to her own account, signaling that she plans to address the situation more fully soon.

The tension between the two has been building for some time. Earle joined Cooper’s Unwell Network in 2023, marking a high-profile partnership between two major online personalities. But by early 2025, signs of trouble were clear. Earle skipped a key Unwell event during Super Bowl weekend, and not long after, her podcast “Hot Mess” left the network.

Reports at the time suggested the split was largely business-driven. Sources indicated that Earle’s father, who plays a role in her business decisions, believed the partnership no longer made financial sense.

Now, with both sides speaking publicly, industry figures are weighing in. Commentators like Dave Portnoy and Bethenny Frankel have suggested the relationship may have always been more strategic than personal, and that the fallout reflects competing business interests rather than a purely emotional dispute.
