Tom Hanks Cheers on Son Chet Hanks at Stagecoach Festival

Tom Hanks was seen supporting his son Chet Hanks at the Stagecoach Music Festival over the weekend.

The 69-year-old actor attended a performance by Chet’s band, Something Out West, on Saturday, April 25. A video taken by a fan showed Tom standing in the crowd, singing along and enjoying the show.

The fan, Keren Ashri, said she was surprised to see him nearby. She said Tom looked proud and was having a good time watching his son perform. After the show, he also spoke with fans and took photos.

Something Out West is made up of Chet Hanks, 35, and his bandmate Drew Arthur. The group recently released a music video for their song “You Better Run,” which includes references to Tom Hanks’ movie Forrest Gump.

Chet Hanks is the son of Tom Hanks and actress Rita Wilson. Tom kept a casual look at the festival, wearing jeans, a tan jacket, and a hat.
