Hilary Duff Says She Has ‘No Regrets’ About Having Kids Before Marriage With Matthew Koma

Hilary Duff says she has no regrets about becoming a mother before marrying husband Matthew Koma.

During an appearance on The Morgan Stewart Show, the actress and singer, 38, reflected on her relationship with Koma and their family life. Duff said the couple broke up twice after meeting in 2015 while working on her Breathe album.

After getting back together, Duff said they quickly decided to have a baby together. “Three weeks later, I think, I was pregnant with Banks,” she said, calling the decision “psycho” in hindsight.

Duff and Koma welcomed daughter Banks in 2018 and married in December 2019. She said the wedding was especially meaningful because Banks walked her down the aisle while Duff’s son Luca walked Koma down the aisle.

The couple now share three daughters — Banks, Mae and Townes — while Duff also shares son Luca with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

Duff recently spoke about motherhood on The Jennifer Hudson Show, saying her younger children enjoy watching her perform. She joked that her teenage son does not think she is especially “cool,” though his friends seem impressed by her fame.

Duff released her latest album, Luck... or Something, in February and will begin her Lucky Me Tour in June.
