The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum was taken into custody Saturday night and later bonded out early Sunday morning. Chrisley told TMZ she had been speeding past another vehicle on a two-lane road after it nearly struck an animal, saying she was trying to avoid a collision herself. She added that she plans to fight the charge.
The arrest comes amid ongoing fallout from her recent split with ex-boyfriend David Landsman. Earlier this month, the former couple agreed to a mutual no-contact order requiring them to remain 500 yards away from each other, their homes, and workplaces through May 2027. The agreement also resolved a dispute over their Dachshund, Oliver, who was returned to Chrisley.
Their breakup escalated after both accused the other of physical violence during an April altercation. Landsman alleged Chrisley punched him, while Chrisley claimed he attacked and attempted to strangle her. Landsman was later arrested on an aggravated assault-strangulation charge connected to the incident.
