Kanye West’s India Concert Suspended Over Security Concerns in New Delhi

Kanye West’s upcoming concert in India has been suspended because of security concerns in New Delhi.

The rapper was scheduled to perform on May 23 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. However, organizers White Fox announced on Friday that the event would not go ahead after receiving warnings from local police and government officials about the city’s current high-alert security situation.

In a statement, the organizers said public safety was their top priority. They also said the concert had been planned for months and was expected to be one of the biggest live music productions ever held in India.

Fans who bought tickets will receive full refunds. According to a source, the concert may be rescheduled for October.

The event had already been postponed once before. It was originally planned for March 29 but was delayed because of growing political and social tensions.

The suspension is the latest problem for Kanye West as he attempts to restart his international touring career. In recent months, a festival appearance in the United Kingdom was canceled after he was reportedly barred from entering the country. A planned show in France was also suspended over related concerns.

West has faced years of controversy because of his public behavior and comments, which have affected several of his business and entertainment projects.
