Khloé Kardashian Says She Was Accidentally Drugged at Coachella, Explains Why She Never Returned

Khloé Kardashian says a bad experience at Coachella is the reason she has not returned to the music festival in more than 10 years.

Speaking on her podcast “Khloé in Wonder Land” during a fan Q&A episode released Wednesday, Kardashian said she unknowingly consumed a drink containing drugs while attending Coachella in 2015 with her sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Kardashian said she did not believe anyone intentionally targeted her, but she did not realize the drink she had contained drugs.

“I remember just feeling really crazy,” she said. “No one wants to feel like that and not know why they’re like that.”

According to Kardashian, the experience became frightening and confusing. She said she locked herself in a bathroom at a party and stayed there for hours because she felt scared and overwhelmed.

“I was in my head. I was so scared,” she said, adding that the incident left her with a negative memory of the festival.

During the same episode, Kardashian also discussed her 2007 DUI arrest and confirmed a long-running rumor about her mugshot.

She said her friend Malika Haqq styled her hair before she took the photo connected to a later jail sentence in 2018.

Kardashian explained that her first arrest for driving under the influence was frightening because she did not expect to go to jail. Since the arrest happened on a weekend, she remained in custody until Monday.

She was later sentenced to probation, but violated the terms after failing to complete required community service and an alcohol education program. In 2018, she received a 30-day jail sentence, although she served only about three hours because of overcrowding.

“For that mugshot, Malika did do my hair,” Kardashian said. “She did a good job.”
