Royal Biography Claims Sarah Ferguson Had Secret Relationship With Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

A new royal biography has made claims about Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and music producer Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In his book Entitled, author Andrew Lownie says Ferguson and Combs met in 2002 at a party hosted by Ghislaine Maxwell. According to the book, the two later had a secret “friends with benefits” relationship that lasted for several years.

The book claims they met in expensive hotel rooms and says Combs spoke about the relationship to people close to him. It also alleges that his perfume, Unforgivable, was inspired by Ferguson.

A spokesperson close to Ferguson strongly denied the claims, calling them “completely false” and “fabricated nonsense.”

Lownie has defended his reporting, saying the information came from several sources, including former employees connected to both Ferguson and Combs.

The book also claims Ferguson introduced her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, to Combs. One allegation says Eugenie attended one of Combs’ parties when she was 16 years old.

Former employees quoted in the book describe Combs as being very interested in the British royal family.

Combs has faced major legal problems in recent years. In 2025, he was tried on charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. He was found not guilty on the most serious charges but was convicted on two transportation-related offences. He was sentenced to four years and two months in prison and fined $500,000.

The case received heavy media attention because of allegations about parties and sexual misconduct, which Combs denied.
