Sebastian Stan Confirms He and Annabelle Wallis Are Expecting First Child

Sebastian Stan says he is preparing to become a father for the first time.

The 43-year-old actor confirmed that he and his partner, actress Annabelle Wallis, are expecting a baby together. He shared the news in an interview with Deadline.

Stan said he wants to be “a good dad” and spoke about the responsibility of becoming a parent. “I’m feeling the responsibility of being a good father,” he said. “And not to mention a good man.”

The couple was photographed together in New York in late April, where Wallis appeared to show a baby bump. Stan and Wallis were first linked in 2022 and made more public appearances together in 2024.

Stan also reflected on his own family background. He was raised by his mother and stepfather. During his Golden Globes acceptance speech earlier this year, he thanked his stepfather for supporting his family. Stan later reconnected with his biological father when he was 18. His father died in 2021.

The actor said he feels he is still learning about life and other people’s experiences. “I’m 43 and I feel, in a lot of ways, I’m just starting to learn now,” he told Deadline.

Stan’s newest film project, Fjord, also focuses on family. In the movie, he plays a father in an immigrant family living in Norway.
