In an interview with PEOPLE, Helfer said she plans to post artistic photos, along with casual videos and pictures from her daily life at home. She described the move as part of a personal “do what I want” phase and said she enjoys pushing some of her own boundaries.
Helfer said reactions from fans and friends have mostly been supportive, though some people have expressed concern. She emphasized that she decides what to post and can stop using the platform at any time.
The actress previously appeared in Playboy in 2007 and has also starred in Lucifer, Suits, Burn Notice, and Two and a Half Men. She will next appear in the final season of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer.
Her launch follows other actresses recently joining OnlyFans, including Jaime Pressly and Shannon Elizabeth.
