The tension began when Gellar appeared on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio in mid-March 2026. A longtime fan of the franchise, she was asked for her thoughts on Season 15. Gellar didn’t hold back, calling the season “boring” and “slow,” though she added that it was “just picking up now.”
Despite her criticism, Gellar made it clear she still enjoys the show overall. She praised the cast, including newcomers Rachel Zoe and Bozoma Saint John, and even suggested a potential spin-off featuring Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton.
However, one comment stood out. Gellar took aim at cast member Amanda Frances, saying, “I just don't think anyone enjoys her.”
Cohen later responded on his SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, and made it clear he was not pleased. While he disagreed with Gellar’s opinion, his biggest issue was where the interview took place.
According to Cohen, the segment was filmed inside his own Radio Andy studio, with his branding visible in the background of clips that quickly spread online. He criticized the decision, saying it was inappropriate to use his space to publicly criticize one of his flagship shows.
“I go, ‘You know what? Don’t bring someone into my studio to trash my show,’” Cohen said, adding that better judgment should have been used before sharing the clips on social media.
He also pushed back directly on Gellar’s take, stating that Season 15 is not boring and that she is simply “wrong.”
The exchange has sparked a wider debate among fans of the franchise. On social media platforms like Reddit, many viewers have sided with Gellar, agreeing that the current season has been slow and praising her for being honest.
Others, however, support Cohen, arguing that criticizing a show while sitting in the creator’s own branded studio crosses a professional line.
The situation is especially surprising given that Gellar had recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live—hosted by Cohen—just days earlier, where their interaction appeared friendly.
For now, the disagreement has added another layer of drama to the “Bravoverse,” proving that sometimes the biggest conflicts happen off-screen.
