Luke Hemsworth Says Scheduling Chris Is Biggest Barrier to Family Film

Luke Hemsworth says a film featuring all three Hemsworth brothers is possible, but coordinating their schedules remains a major challenge.

In an interview with E! News on March 30, 2026, Luke Hemsworth shared that the main obstacle to a joint project with his brothers Chris and Liam is timing—particularly Chris Hemsworth’s packed schedule. Chris, known for his role as Thor in the Marvel franchise, is often booked years in advance.

“We need to get Chris booked in about two years in advance,” Luke said, adding that his brother is “incredibly in demand.”

Despite the logistical difficulties, Luke made it clear that the idea of a collaboration is still very much alive. He said the brothers have discussed working together “a lot,” but are waiting for a script that suits all of them creatively. He also extended an open invitation to writers and filmmakers, joking, “If anyone wants to write something, then please, please come and see us.”

Luke has previously worked with Liam Hemsworth on the film Land of Bad, but a project involving all three brothers has yet to materialize.

The interview also touched on Luke’s personal life. He said he is currently encouraging his children—Holly, Ella, Harper, and Alexandre—to gain more life experience before considering careers in acting. He also joked about sibling dynamics, noting that getting his brothers to watch his work can be “the battle.”

For now, Luke is focused on promoting his upcoming film Beast, which co-stars Russell Crowe. The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on April 10, 2026.
