Originally announced as a limited run, the show has already been extended due to strong demand and is now scheduled to continue through June 20, 2026. Sink stars opposite Noah Jupe, who plays Romeo, marking a notable pairing of two young film actors transitioning to major stage roles.
The production reflects Icke’s characteristic modern approach to classic texts. A prominent digital clock on stage counts down throughout the performance, emphasizing the play’s themes of time, fate, and urgency. Early images released on March 30 show a stripped-back set design and contemporary visual style, suggesting a minimalist interpretation of Shakespeare’s tragedy.
This marks Sink’s first professional stage appearance in the UK, although she previously performed on Broadway as a child in Annie and later in The Audience. More recently, she received a Tony Award nomination in 2025 for her leading role in John Proctor Is the Villain, which significantly raised her profile in theatre.
The production also comes shortly after the conclusion of Stranger Things Season 5, where Sink gained international recognition. In recent interviews, she has noted that live theatre presents a different level of discipline and intensity compared to television work.
The show’s official press night is scheduled for March 31, when professional critics will publish their first reviews. These are expected to influence the production’s longer-term reception and ticket demand.
Tickets are priced between £15 and £150. While many April performances are already sold out or have limited availability, additional seats remain for the extended run in June.
