Clavicular Says Ordeal Was “Brutal” After Hospital Release

A controversial online influencer known as Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, has returned home after being hospitalized following a medical emergency during a livestream in Miami.

Peters, 20, was taken to a hospital on Tuesday, April 14, after appearing to suffer a suspected drug overdose while broadcasting on the streaming platform Kick. The incident happened at a Miami venue where he was filming with friends.

Viewers watching the livestream reported that Peters began acting strangely, slurring his speech and appearing disoriented before eventually losing consciousness. The stream ended suddenly as people around him realized he was unresponsive. Videos that later circulated online showed several individuals carrying him to a vehicle before emergency responders arrived. A 911 dispatch call confirmed that Miami-Dade EMS responded to a report of a 20-year-old male overdose at the scene.

There has been speculation online about what substances may have been involved, with some reports mentioning GHB or a mix of drugs. However, no official medical confirmation has been released.

On Wednesday, April 15, Peters posted an update describing the experience as “brutal.” People close to him said he is now in stable condition and has been discharged from the hospital.

The incident drew strong reactions from his followers. Some fans held online prayer vigils, while others gathered outside the hospital during his stay.

Peters is known for promoting “looksmaxxing,” a controversial online trend that encourages extreme methods to improve physical appearance, including risky practices and drug use.

His hospitalization comes after several recent controversies. He recently walked out of an interview with 60 Minutes Australia after being questioned about alleged connections to Andrew Tate and online “incel” communities. He has also faced legal scrutiny in Florida after a video appeared to show him shooting an alligator, and he was previously involved in a battery case in Arizona.

Earlier this month, on April 2, Peters also appeared to suffer a seizure during another livestream after participating in a chokehold prank with another influencer.

Authorities have not released further details about the latest incident.
