Josh Duhamel says he has a good relationship with ex-wife Fergie

Actor Josh Duhamel says he has a strong and peaceful relationship with his ex-wife, singer Fergie.

In a recent podcast interview, Duhamel explained that the two get along well and focus on being good parents to their son, Axl, who is 12. He said there is no hostility between them and that they have worked hard to keep things respectful and calm.

Duhamel and Fergie were married for 10 years before divorcing in 2019. They share joint custody of their son. Duhamel is now married to Audra Mari, and he said Fergie and Mari also have a good relationship.

He added that both he and Fergie wanted to avoid conflict because they each grew up with divorced parents who did not get along. Their goal has been to create a comfortable and positive environment for their son.

Duhamel also reflected on their marriage, saying it ended not because of major problems, but because they grew apart over time and developed different interests.

Fergie, a former member of the Black Eyed Peas, was at the peak of her music career during their marriage. Duhamel said it took time for him to adjust to her level of fame.

Today, he says he feels lucky that they are able to maintain a kind and cooperative relationship as co-parents.
