Sabrina Carpenter Promises “Most Ambitious” Show Yet for Coachella 2026

Sabrina Carpenter has confirmed that her headlining performance at Coachella 2026 will be the most ambitious show of her career. She is set to take the main stage on Friday, April 10 and again on April 17, with a 90-minute set scheduled to begin at 9:05 p.m.

In a recent interview with Marc Jacobs for Perfect magazine, Carpenter said the production has been in development for seven months. This marks a shift from her usual approach, where rehearsals tend to begin quickly without extended planning. This time, she has had more opportunity to shape the concept of the show from the ground up.

She described the process as giving her greater creative control, allowing her to build the performance while it is still evolving. The visual direction also appears to be changing. In her Perfect editorial, Carpenter moved away from her signature blonde look, instead appearing in dark wigs and more experimental fashion, suggesting a different aesthetic for this era.

The performance also represents a milestone in her career. Her Coachella 2026 headline slot comes exactly two years after her debut at the festival in 2024, which took place on the same day she released her breakout single “Espresso.” Carpenter said returning to the festival feels surreal, especially as she now has a larger catalog of music to celebrate.

The setlist is expected to feature songs from her 2025 album Man’s Best Friend, including “Manchild,” “Tears,” and “House Tour,” along with earlier hits.

In addition to her performance, Carpenter has partnered with Airbnb to launch a themed pop-up experience called “Sabrina’s Pit Stop” in Indio, California. Located on Route 111, the installation includes vintage cars for photos, a slushie station, candy-themed art, and exclusive merchandise. The pop-up runs from April 10 to April 12, with all bookable sessions already sold out.

Fans who are not attending the festival in person will be able to watch the performance through Coachella’s official YouTube livestream.
