Homer Gere Draws Attention After Steamy ‘Euphoria’ Scene With Sydney Sweeney

Homer Gere is drawing attention after appearing in a steamy scene with Sydney Sweeney in the latest episode of HBO Max’s “Euphoria.”

The 26-year-old actor plays movie star Dylan Reid and quickly became a trending topic following the episode’s release.

Born Homer James Jigme Gere on Feb. 6, 2000, he is the son of actor Richard Gere and actress Carey Lowell. He grew up in Westchester, New York, and attended Hackley School in Tarrytown.

Homer comes from a well-known Hollywood family. His parents divorced in 2016, and Richard Gere later married Alejandra Silva. Homer also has an older half-sister, actress Hannah Dunne, and two younger half-brothers.

Richard Gere recently said his son has become interested in acting, writing and directing films. Homer has said his father gives him advice about handling life in the entertainment industry.

In addition to “Euphoria,” Homer is set to appear in the upcoming series “The Shards” in 2026. Before that, he acted in several short films and appeared in a 2024 music video for Khatumu’s “Hunting Days.”

Despite his growing fame, Homer keeps a low profile and does not appear to use public social media accounts. He was also linked to model Kaia Gerber after they were seen filming “The Shards” together in Los Angeles in 2025.
