Howard Stern denies former assistant’s hostile workplace claims, seeks dismissal of lawsuit

Howard Stern and his wife, Beth Stern, are pushing back against a lawsuit filed by a former employee who claims she was treated unfairly at work.

Leslie Kuhn, who used to work as an assistant for the couple, filed a lawsuit on April 5. She says she was fired and experienced a hostile work environment. Kuhn also claims she was asked to sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements around the time she lost her job, and she wants compensation and the right to speak freely.

According to her complaint, Kuhn started working for The Howard Stern Show in 2022 and later became Stern’s executive assistant in early 2024. She says she was then asked to relocate to the Sterns’ home in Southampton, New York, to help manage their large property. Kuhn also claims she received positive feedback about her work shortly before she was fired in February 2025.

However, Stern and his wife deny her claims. On April 29, their lawyers filed a motion asking the court to dismiss the lawsuit. They argue that Kuhn’s accusations are false and describe the case as an attempt to pressure the couple into paying money.

The Sterns’ legal team says Kuhn did sign the confidentiality agreements and is now trying to create negative publicity to force a settlement. They also claim that Kuhn herself made the situation public by filing the lawsuit and speaking to the media.

Kuhn, on the other hand, argues that the agreements are unfair and should not be enforced.

The case is ongoing, and the court has not yet made a decision.
