Jennifer Lopez says kissing scenes still make her nervous, even after decades in Hollywood. Speaking at the premiere of her new Netflix romantic comedy Office Romance on May 26, Lopez said filming intimate scenes with co-star Brett Goldstein felt “a bit nerve-racking” because actors often have to kiss people they are just getting to know.

Goldstein said the best way to handle the pressure is to “just go for it” and not overthink it.

In Office Romance, Lopez plays a powerful CEO who falls for a newly hired employee, played by Goldstein. The film follows their secret workplace romance as they decide to ignore company rules and follow their feelings.

Lopez praised Goldstein, saying they had “great chemistry” and that he was kinder and softer-spoken than she expected after watching him play Roy Kent on Ted Lasso.

Goldstein revealed he and co-writer Joe Kelly created the movie specifically for Lopez while filming Ted Lasso. He called her “the best rom-com star” and said writing the film with her in mind made the process easy.

Office Romance premieres on Netflix on June 5.
