According to court documents, Shehorn claims Pasqual sexually assaulted and raped her during their relationship in April 2024. She also alleges he became increasingly controlling, threatening, and physically abusive over time.
The lawsuit also details the May 2024 stabbing attack that led to Pasqual’s criminal conviction. Shehorn says Pasqual broke into her Sunland home and stabbed her more than 20 times, causing severe injuries that required emergency surgery and ongoing medical treatment.
Earlier this month, Pasqual was convicted of attempted murder, residential burglary, and related charges after prosecutors said he fled toward the U.S.-Mexico border following the attack.
Shehorn is now suing for sexual battery, gender violence, assault, battery, emotional distress, and negligence. She is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
