Samara Weaving Once Pretended to Be Margot Robbie for a Fan Photo

Australian actress Samara Weaving revealed that she once let a fan believe she was Margot Robbie.

Speaking to People, Weaving said the incident happened at an airport about 10 years ago. When someone mistook her for Robbie and asked for a photo, she did not correct them and posed for the picture.

Weaving joked that the fan may have later realized the mistake and thought the photo was with “some random lady.”

Weaving and Robbie are often compared because they look alike. Both Australian actresses began acting in 2008 on local soap operas before finding success in Hollywood. They later appeared together in the 2023 film Babylon.

Despite having her own successful career, including roles in Ready or Not and Scream VI, Weaving said the fan may still believe they met Margot Robbie.
