Daphne Joy Says She Was Blackmailed After Alleged Diddy Sex Tape Leak

Model Daphne Joy has spoken publicly after an alleged sexually explicit video involving her, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and another man was leaked online.

In a since-deleted Instagram statement, Joy said she deeply loved her partner at the time and crossed her own boundaries to make him happy. She described the relationship as painful and said she later realized it “was far from love.”

Joy claimed she never consented to being filmed and alleged that someone in the video blackmailed her, demanding money and threatening to release the footage. She said she refused to pay and that the video was later sold to a media company, which she claims decided not to publish it after learning it was tied to alleged revenge porn and extortion.

Calling the experience “abuse,” Joy said revisiting the video has been emotionally difficult and that she is focused on healing and rebuilding trust in herself.

Following reports of the leak, rapper 50 Cent, Joy’s former partner and the father of her son, commented on social media, saying their son was the real victim in the situation.

Joy was previously named in a 2024 lawsuit against Diddy, which described her as a “sex worker” allegedly paid by the music mogul. She denied the allegation and called it character assassination.

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted of transportation for prostitution in 2025.
