Sabrina Carpenter Uses Oxygen Tank Mid-Show at Bogotá Festival

Pop star Sabrina Carpenter briefly paused her performance at the Estéreo Picnic festival in Bogotá, Colombia, on Sunday, March 22, 2026, to use an oxygen tank after experiencing shortness of breath.

The moment occurred during her high-energy set, as Bogotá’s high altitude—about 2,640 meters (8,660 feet) above sea level—can make it difficult to breathe, especially for performers not used to the conditions. The thin air in the Colombian capital is known to cause altitude sickness or fatigue, even in otherwise healthy individuals.

Despite the interruption, Carpenter quickly recovered and continued with her performance. Fans in the crowd responded with support and later praised her professionalism on social media for pushing through the challenge.

The performance marked the closing night of the Estéreo Picnic, where Carpenter was one of the headliners alongside Tyler, The Creator and The Killers.

Carpenter went on to complete her set, performing popular songs such as “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” to an enthusiastic audience.
