Bautista, who is known for roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and for his past career as a WWE wrestler, is in Scotland filming a remake of the 1980s movie Highlander. He recently stopped by the Loch Ness Experience, a popular attraction that shares stories about the famous Loch Ness Monster.
He was also seen having lunch at the Drumnadrochit Hotel near Inverness. Staff there shared a photo with him and said they were pleased to meet the actor.
A spokesperson from the Loch Ness Experience said they were happy to welcome Bautista. They noted that the mystery of Loch Ness continues to attract people from around the world.
In the new Highlander film, Bautista will play the villain, known as The Kurgan. Actor Henry Cavill will play the main character, Connor MacLeod. The film also stars Russell Crowe and Karen Gillan.
Filming is taking place in several scenic areas across northern Scotland, including the Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan Castle.
Bautista has said he prefers filming on real locations rather than using special effects. He believes the Scottish Highlands will make the movie look impressive, especially during its battle scenes.
