The shift follows the events of Season 5, which ended with Emily Cooper returning to Paris after time spent in Rome and Venice. The storyline will now branch into the Mediterranean, beginning with a connection to Greece. Gabriel, Emily’s longtime love interest, was last seen working as a private chef on a yacht there. In the finale, he sent Emily a postcard inviting her to visit, setting up what appears to be a significant arc in the new season.
Monaco will also feature prominently. The show is expected to use the location’s reputation for luxury, fashion, and high-profile business to support new developments at Agence Grateau, the marketing firm central to the series.
Production for Season 6 is scheduled to begin in May 2026. Netflix is reportedly aiming for a quick turnaround, with a likely release window in late 2026, possibly December to align with the show’s usual holiday debut pattern. The production budget is expected to remain consistent, estimated between $3 million and $5 million per episode.
Several plot developments are already emerging. Agence Grateau will face internal changes, including the introduction of a new character named Princess Jane, who is expected to take on a leadership role alongside Sylvie as the agency navigates financial challenges.
Emily’s personal life will also continue to evolve. Her relationship with Marcello has effectively ended, with him staying in Italy to focus on his family business. Meanwhile, her complicated connection with Gabriel will remain unresolved, with the show’s creator indicating that any potential reunion will take time.
Other characters will see continued storylines. Mindy will balance her engagement to Nico while dealing with lingering issues involving Alfie.
The main cast is set to return, including Lily Collins, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gouery. The ensemble is appearing at PaleyFest LA on April 10, 2026, where they are expected to discuss the upcoming season ahead of filming.
