Speaking on the April 21 episode, Cavallari said she believes Pratt entering politics is a positive move, arguing that many current politicians are disconnected from the public and influenced by broader agendas. She described Pratt as someone who could challenge that system and bring a different perspective to local government.
Pratt, also known for his role on MTV’s “The Hills,” announced in January that he plans to run for mayor. He made the announcement during a public demonstration marking the one-year anniversary of the Palisades Fire, which killed 12 people and destroyed thousands of homes, including the one he shared with his family.
Cavallari said Pratt’s personal experience with the wildfire has made him more motivated to address issues in Los Angeles. She added that she believes he is capable of identifying problems in the city and pushing for change.
During the podcast, Cavallari also expressed broader frustration with the political system, saying she does not align herself with a specific political party. She called for more unity among the public and less division over political differences.
Cavallari noted that while she cannot vote in the Los Angeles mayoral race, she supports Pratt’s campaign and said she has heard positive reactions from others in California.
