According to reports from entertainment outlets including TMZ and Page Six, Lyonne was boarding a red-eye flight from Los Angeles to New York City shortly after attending the premiere of Euphoria Season 3. Witnesses said she appeared to still be wearing the same sheer outfit seen earlier on the red carpet.
Passengers and crew described Lyonne as appearing disoriented during boarding. Flight attendants reportedly asked her multiple times to stow her laptop and prepare for takeoff, but she did not respond. The aircraft had already begun taxiing when the situation escalated, prompting the pilot to return to the gate.
A Delta staff member then boarded the plane to assess the situation. Lyonne was reportedly asked if she required medical assistance and appeared confused, at one point asking, “Where are we?” She briefly went to the bathroom and later exited with a bag of pretzels before leaving the aircraft without further resistance.
The flight was delayed by more than an hour. The pilot later apologized to passengers over the intercom, citing a traveler who “wouldn’t follow basic commands.”
The incident occurred the same evening as the high-profile premiere of Euphoria Season 3 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Lyonne is set to appear as a guest star in the show’s final season, which is scheduled to debut on HBO on April 12, 2026.
The episode has raised concern among fans, given Lyonne’s recent personal disclosures. Earlier this year, she revealed she had experienced a relapse after nearly ten years of sobriety. In March, however, she stated publicly that she was recovering and “doing a whole lot better.”
As of Thursday, Lyonne’s representatives have not issued an official statement regarding the incident. She also missed a planned appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show the following day.
