North West drew major attention during the first weekend of Coachella 2026, despite not being part of the official lineup. The 12-year-old became one of the most talked-about figures at the festival, with crowds forming around her as she moved through the grounds in Indio, California.

On April 12, festivalgoers and media outlets reported that North was frequently stopped by fans asking for photos. She appeared comfortable in the spotlight, smiling and posing for selfies as she walked. Some observers noted that she generated significant attention off-stage, even as major artists like Justin Bieber were performing.

Her appearance also stood out for its fashion. North wore a “goth glam” outfit that included an oversized black-and-white graphic T-shirt with detached striped sleeves, short bottoms, and black platform boots with heavy straps. She paired the look with bright blue braided hair decorated with charms and pins, along with diamond grills. She also carried a Balenciaga Le Cagole bag.

North attended the festival with her friend Sophia, known on social media as @starxxsophia. While some members of her extended family, including Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner, were present at Coachella, her mother, Kim Kardashian, was not seen during the initial days of the event.

Her appearance came at the same time as news involving her father, Kanye West, who was recently barred from entering the United Kingdom and missed a scheduled performance at London’s Wireless Festival.
