Rapper Offset Back Performing One Week After Shooting Incident

Rapper Offset returned to the stage on Saturday, April 11, just days after being injured in a shooting outside a South Florida hotel and casino.

The performance marked his first public appearance since the April 6 incident near the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Offset had been hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries but was released within a few days.

During the show, Offset directly referenced the incident in a staged moment that drew strong reaction from the audience. He entered in a wheelchair, signaling the physical impact of the shooting. Midway through the performance, he stood up and began moving around the stage, continuing his set without assistance. The sequence quickly circulated online.

In a social media post following the performance, Offset wrote “REAL LOVE,” and indicated he was recovering. A day earlier, he told fans he was “good” while focusing on family and returning to music.

Authorities have described the shooting as targeted. Several individuals were detained in connection with the incident. Rapper Lil Tjay was among those arrested but was later released on $500 bail. He has denied being the shooter.

No additional details about charges or suspects have been confirmed. The investigation remains ongoing.
