Pfeifer Hill Explains Absence from ‘Age of Attraction’ Reunion

Pfeifer Hill, one of the breakout personalities from Netflix’s Age of Attraction, has spoken publicly about why she did not attend the show’s season one reunion, which premiered April 1, 2026.

The reunion, hosted by Nick Viall and Natalie Joy on The Viall Files, featured much of the cast but notably excluded Hill. In a recent Instagram reel, she said the decision to skip the event was intentional and based on her desire to protect her mental well-being and maintain personal boundaries.

Hill explained that she declined the invitation because she wanted to share her experience on her own terms. She emphasized that she prefers to speak on platforms that feel authentic to her, stating she did not want her first public comments about the show to take place in an environment where she was not fully comfortable or enthusiastic.

She also clarified that her absence was not meant as criticism of the hosts or her fellow cast members. Instead, she described it as a personal decision rooted in self-respect and a need to prioritize her peace.

Another factor in her decision was her current relationship. Hill revealed she is dating someone new and chose to spend the reunion filming period traveling in Japan with her partner, who planned the trip as a birthday surprise. She said the relationship is a priority and she did not want to alter those plans.

During the reunion, it was confirmed that Hill and Derrick Fleming, who ended the show together, are no longer in a relationship. The pair had initially planned to continue their relationship after filming, including a potential move from Seattle to Dallas. However, the relationship ended shortly afterward.

Fleming cited several reasons for the breakup, including the challenges of long distance, Hill beginning a new career path, and outside influences from friends. Despite the split, both have said they remain on good terms and still communicate as friends.

Since the show, Hill has been focusing on her professional and academic goals. She is currently working as a brand design intern for EA Sports in Seattle, a role she has highlighted positively on LinkedIn. She has also returned to school to complete her degree after taking time off to participate in the series.
