Bad Bunny Debuts Dramatic Aged Look at 2026 Met Gala

Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny drew attention at the 2026 Met Gala with a striking and unusual look. He arrived wearing a black tuxedo and carrying a cane, appearing much older than his actual age.

The look was intentional. Bad Bunny used detailed prosthetics to make his hair, face, neck, and hands look aged. The work was done by makeup artist Mike Marino, who is known for creating realistic transformations for celebrities.

According to reports, the idea came from a discussion about how aging changes the body. The goal was to create a realistic preview of what the artist might look like in later years.

His appearance was connected to the theme of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute exhibition, which focuses on different body types, including aging bodies. The exhibit highlights how the fashion industry often overlooks older people.

Bad Bunny has been a regular at the Met Gala, attending every year since 2022. He was also a co-chair of the event in 2024.
