Dennis Quaid Seeks to End Child Support as Twins Graduate High School

Actor Dennis Quaid has gone to court to end his child support payments for his twins with ex-wife Kimberly Buffington as they finish high school.

Quaid currently pays $13,750 a month in child support, plus extra payments tied to his income. Their daughter Zoe graduated on May 23, and their son Thomas is set to graduate on June 3. Quaid wants the court to officially end support payments after each child’s graduation date.

He is also asking that any extra payments based on his yearly income be calculated only up to the twins’ graduation dates, not for the entire year.

Quaid and Buffington divorced in 2018 after 14 years of marriage. The actor later married Laura Savoie in 2020. He also shares son Jack Quaid with former wife Meg Ryan.
